Implant Restoration

For whatever reason tooth loss occurred – ineffective dentistry, lack of prevention (fluoride, flossing, brushing), periodontal disease – modern dentistry can provide permanent tooth replacement with the use of implant technology.

There are many different implant solutions depending on your existing condition. We can replace one tooth, a few teeth or all your teeth with implant dentistry. They will look and feel much like natural teeth than dentures.

Go natural with implants.

Implants are metal posts that are permanently anchored into the jaw. Because there is always a perfect fit, implants are almost the same as having your natural teeth back again. To qualify for implants, you’ll need a healthy oral tissues and jawbone ridges that are in good shape. If you’re suffering from tooth loss, let’s discuss whether implants are an option for you.

MDI Implants

What are MDI Implants?

The MDI System consists of a miniature titanium implant that acts like a root of your tooth and a retaining fixture that is incorporated into the base of your denture. The head of the implant is shaped like a ball, and the retaining fixture acts like a socket that contains a rubber O-ring. The O-ring snaps over the ball when the denture is seated and holds the denture at a predetermined level of force. When seated, the denture gently rests on the gum tissue. The implant fixtures allow for micro-mobility while withstanding natural lifting forces.

How are MDI Implants Placed?

Placement of the implants is accomplished quickly and easily in a process performed in the dentist’s office, with local anesthesia or light sedation to help make you more comfortable. Using a precise, controlled, minimally invasive surgical technique, MDI Implants are placed into the jawbone. The heads of the implants protrude from the gum tissue and provide a strong, solid foundation for securing your dentures. It is a one-step procedure that involves minimally invasive surgery, no sutures nor typical months of healing.

Cosmetic Dentures

Ditch ill-fitting dentures with new ones that are even more natural, functional and comfortable.

These are not your mother’s dentures. New materials can be custom blended to your skin, hair and eye color to look as if your were born with perfect teeth. Dentures can also be replaced or relined to correct problems with aging jaws so you can chew without discomfort again. If you need a denture to replace your natural teeth you will want the most life like and natural results possible. Your teeth will look so real, even your family will be fooled.

Root Canal Therapy

If you have a tooth that has a diseased nerve, it can often be saved through a specialized dental procedure called endodontic treatment. The common name for this procedure is “root canal therapy”. The treatment today is often completed with little or no discomfort during or after the procedure.

The tooth is anesthetized and an opening into the root chamber is made through the top of the diseased tooth. The diseased tissue is removed from the pulp chamber, and the root canals are cleaned, enlarged and shaped.

The chamber and root canals are then filled and sealed. The procedure can often be performed in one or two appointments. A build-up of the tooth is done with a post or filling and a crown is placed over the tooth to protect it from fracturing.

We hope that all your teeth last a lifetime, but if one of your teeth should become injured or diseased, root canal therapy can often restore a tooth and give it a second chance.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Tooth colored fillings: - Turn “Metal Mouth” Into A Natural Smile

Natural tooth colored fillings are becoming very popular because they blend almost perfectly with natural teeth. Even dentists can not distinguish them from natural teeth! Their strength and durability usually exceed that of common dark metal. Replace old silver fillings with tooth colored restorations that look like your original teeth. There is a huge difference between silver fillings and our new tooth colored fillings that are bonded to your teeth and reflect the translucence of natural teeth.

This is the modern, non-metal, healthier alternative to silver mercury fillings – minimal removable of tooth structure is required. Metal fillings usually need more space so they can be ‘plugged in’. Composite resin restoration or tooth-colored ‘fillings’ are molecularly bonded – creating a fusion of nature and advanced material. It’s healthy high-tech care.

We can replace those old silver mercury fillings with tooth colored fillings. There is a huge difference between the tooth colored fillings because they make your teeth look like they don’t have fillings.

Cosmetic Bonding & Tooth Contouring

Cosmetic Bonding is similar to sculpting individual teeth with special tooth like material that looks, acts, and feels like the real thing. Cosmetic Bonding is an affordable, quick and painless way to repair many cosmetic flaws or injury.

Chipped, cracked teeth refashioned and gaps closed usually in one visit. An enamel like resin material is molecularly bonded to your teeth, layer by layer, to form a durable tooth. Bonding is similar to sculpting in which individual teeth are bonded with a special tooth like material that looks, acts and feels like the real thing. Bonding is an affordable and painless way to repair chipped and misshaped teeth.

Porcelain Crowns & Bridges

Porcelain Crowns and Bridges can replace both front and back teeth that are missing. A porcelain crown or “cap” look natural and replace broken teeth or teeth with cavities that make a filling impossible because there is not enough tooth structure to support the filling. Porcelain Bridges give patients natural looking teeth that replace missing teeth and give patients the ability to brush their teeth instead of taking their teeth out at night.

When a filling exceeds a certain proportion of the tooth it must be replaced with a crown, also called a cap.Restoring worn, broken down teeth is more effective with modern esthetic crowns because they are molecularly bonded to your teeth not cemented like metal-based crowns. Because they are ALL-Porcelain you won’t ever see a darkened line near the gum line like a metal-based crown. Porcelain crowns look very natural because they reflect light and have a natural healthy glow. They are undistinguishable from your own teeth.

Cosmetic Esthetics: Reconstruction

Who can benefit from cosmetic reconstruction? If you have broken, abscessed, missing teeth or teeth with large fillings and don’t know what to do because your teeth seem ugly, hurt or constantly need dental work at every dental visit, a different approach to fix your teeth once and for all maybe what is needed.

Because this is esthetic reconstruction, we are very conscious about how each tooth restoration will affect the mouth. If you have been going to the dentist and he keeps patching you up but it doesn’t improve your smile cosmetic esthetic reconstruction may be for you.

We may recommend porcelain crowns, root canals, dental implants, non-surgical gum therapy, tooth colored fillings, tooth removal or cosmetic dentures. Esthetic reconstruction with our proper planning and follow through will give the patient the healthy smile they need and want. Depending on the level or care we can maximize your insurance benefits so that this needed treatment can fit within your budget. Since we strive for the highest quality and long term patient satisfaction it is difficult to proceed unless the patient approves of the comprehensive reconstruction because it may take timely visits and keeping a budget in mind. If the patient desires this type of care it can be done within a 6 month, 1 year or even 2 year period time depending on the patients desires and needs.
