Dale Petrusha, D.D.S.
Dr. Petrusha is a lifelong Detroit area resident and has been practicing dentistry here since 1984. He graduated from Trenton High School and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the University of Detroit Dental School. He enjoys attending numerous continuing education courses each year and staying on the cutting edge of current dental technology, so that your care will be the most up-to-date and relevant available. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association and Detroit District Dental Association. Additionally, he is a past President of the Western Branch of the Detroit District Dental Society.
Dr. Petrusha and his wife have been married since 1984 and are the proud parents of two daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and hockey, and he has also been known to coach a softball team or two. Dr. Petrusha passionately believes in the work of the Tri-County Dental Fund, and he regularly donates his time in service to this organization.
Cindy P., Receptionist
Our receptionist, Cindy, has worked in the dental field since 1985, interacting with patients and helping them maximize their dental benefits. She has been with our practice since 2008. Cindy enjoys all aspects of her job, especially making patients feel welcome and comfortable and getting to work with a very caring staff. Married in 1982, she and her husband have two sons: Ryan, a recent college graduate, and Justin, a current college senior. For relaxation, you'll find Cindy spending time with her family or reading.
Laurie, Hygienist
Laurie earned her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Detroit in 1983 and has been an asset to our practice since 1987. Besides working in hygiene, she is in charge of payroll and accounts payable. Laurie loves meeting new patients, especially children, because she enjoys showing them that a visit to the dentist can be fun. She finds getting to know her patients and their families very rewarding, as she sees their dental health improve over the course of their visits. By attending biannual periodontal study classes, Laurie continues her education and adds value to our office team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, attending sporting events, scrapbooking, playing tennis, bike riding, and reading.
Kelly, Dental Assistant
Since 1981 Kelly has been working in the dental field. She joined Petrusha Family Dentistry's staff over two years ago. Kelly's favorite part of her job is the one-on-one connection she is able to develop with our patients. She makes sure every patient is as comfortable as possible. When she is not at the office, Kelly goes to every possible game of her three children who are all involved in sports. She also enjoys gardening and going to the beach.
Cindy G., Hygienist
Cindy has been practicing dental hygiene since completing her degree at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 1975. A team member at Petrusha Family Dentistry since 2003, she loves serving people and enjoys helping patients improve their health and well-being. Each year, Cindy looks forward to visiting schools during National Dental Health Month to teach children about proper dental care and hygiene. Cindy has been married to her wonderful husband, Mitch, since 1975; together they have four children, one lovely daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. She enjoys reading and gardening in her spare time, but nothing compares to her time spent babysitting her sweet grandbabies.
Lori, Dental Assistant
Lori has been working with Dr. Petrusha since 2000 and was radiograph certified in 2001. She is responsible for all Zoom! Bleaching treatments and loves seeing the amazing results this quick and easy process can achieve for our patients! Lori takes pride in our sanitary, fantastic-looking office and truly enjoys coming to work each day to collaborate with her co-workers and serve patients. To unwind, Lori loves travelling, spending time on the water in her boat, and especially cheering on her daughter, Ashley, at her basketball games.
Ann, Office Manager
Ann joined our staff in 2013, and being family oriented herself, she appreciates and enjoys contributing to the family atmosphere at Petrusha Family Dentistry. Ann has a Bachelor's of Arts in Business Management and began her dental career in 1981 by assisting in a dental office. She was promoted to the reception's position and then into the insurance department. Ann has experience in all aspects of the administrative responsibilities of a dental office which have provided her with the ability of being an effective office manager. Ann is a proud mother of three boys and two daughter-in-laws, Richard and Andrea, Ross and Andrea, and Patrick. No that is not a typographical error, her daughter-in-laws have the same name. When she is not playing with her grandsons, Owen, Cooper and Dex, she enjoys cooking for family and friends and plays a round of golf whenever possible.
Heather, Office Assistant
Heather joined the Petrusha Family Dentistry team in 2013. She is responsible for accounts receivable and working with patients to maximize their dental benefits. She enjoys working with the other staff members to ensure the best possible experience for our patients.
