"It had been more than just a few years since I permitted a dentist to poke and prod my teeth and gums when I first met with Dr. Evans.
My teeth were in a deplorable state. 20-year-old mercury fillings that had finally crumbled, new cavities that had never been repaired, and several that required root canals. I was embarrassed to let him look in my mouth! But I couldn't ignore the problem anymore; I had to see a dreaded dentist.
But, I liked Dr. Evans right away. I felt comfortable. He was warm, gentle, kind and had a sense of humor. He took time to talk with me about a plan of treatment because of the extensive work that had to be done.
Now, about six months later and a lot of hours in Dr. Evans' chair, my teeth are in great shape and I
am delighted. I have to admit that I even began to look forward to my appointments. I was quite content
sitting in the BIG chair with my feet up and my V.I.P. pillow, and listening to music and watching videos
on rock climbing in Yosemite, and learning about ocean life. And with the use of local anesthetic, I felt
no pain. The whole experience was actually quite pleasant. And more importantly, my teeth are fixed! I am
thankful to Dr. Evans and his witty assistant, Allyson for making my dental experience a good one.
