Dr. Erik J. Olson DMD
Dr. Olson is a Florida native who received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida
and went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from University of Florida College of Dentistry
in 1999. He has practiced solely in Palm Coast Florida since then and has attended various courses at
The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Education, The Pankey Institute, and the Seattle Study Club. He is
a member of the Florida Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Volusia County Dental
Association. He is a Graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute surgical course. Dr Olson is the
current president of the Volusia-Flagler county dental association, a faculty member at University of Florida
College of Dentistry, and a Fellow of the International College of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Jeremiah Mahoney DMD
I was born in Daytona Beach and raised right here in Flagler County. I graduated from Flagler Palm Coast High
School before moving on to the University of Florida. While in Gainesville, I received my Bachelor's degree in
Microbiology and my Master's degree in Education. I then moved on to the University of Florida College of
Dentistry where I received my DMD. I'm an active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental
Association, the Central Florida Dental Association, and the Volusia/Flagler Dental Association. Finally, I'm
extremely happy to be practicing in the county I grew up in and look forward to being here for a long, long time.
Dr. Ben Lacy DDS
Dr. Lacy has practiced dentistry in Flagler County for over 40 years. During that time he has served as
treasurer, secretary, vice-president, and president of the Flagler/Volusia County Dental Society. He is a
life member of the Florida dental Association, the Daytona Beach Dental Study Club, and the American Dental
Association. Dr. Lacy has also served as chairman of the Flagler County Democratic Committee, Director of the
Flagler County Chamber of commerce, a member of the Flagler County Health Advisory Committee, a trustee of the
Daytona Beach Community College and was a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army Reserves. Dr. Lacy enjoys the practice of
dentistry and plans to continue for many more years.
Dr. Ryan T. Smith DDS
Dr. Ryan T. Smith was born and raised in Northeast Florida. Dr. Smith graduated from the University of Florida
with an undergraduate degree in Entomology. He was then one of only five students in the country to be accepted
into the prestigious Masters of Biomedical Science Dental program at Nova Southeastern University. After completing
the Masters of Biomedical Science program, Dr. Smith, graduated with honors from the college of Dental Medicine at
Nova Southeastern University. During his time at NSU he participated in mission trips to Jamaica, and Give Kids a
Smile. He is currently an active member in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Academy of
General Dentistry and American Society of Forensic Odontology.
